This series was created during quarantine for COVID-19. Each of the photos of people was taken from friends and online volunteers in the clothes they would be wearing for their jobs, proms, weddings, and graduations if not for the quarantine. Backgrounds were harvested from public domain photo sites and the photos were printed, attached with various methods, and then photographed. This series is a manifestation of the frustration of having to completely put life on hold and create normalcy from scraps.
THE HANDS OF BIPOLAR SERIES
I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 in September of 2019. This photo series shows some of the struggles of living with the disorder, predominantly featuring my hands as a connecting thread.
